The patio is lovely when you are in the shade. The prices are a little high in my opinion, but the food was delicious. The skirt steak street tacos were very good. The salsa had enough heat to set it apart from chili's, but the guacamole was over priced for the tiny bowl you got with your complimentary first bowl of chips and salas.

I hosted a St. Patrick's Day pub crawl this past weekend, and Potter's was our final stop! From the moment we arrived, manager Matt was absolutely outstanding. He and the entire staff made the experience seamless for our group of 50, including making the cover charge entry process quick and easy. We were set up in the tent area with a live band, which was a huge hit with the group. The energy in there was fantastic! The food didn't disappoint either. Many in our group stepped out to grab tacos from the dining area. The servers did an incredible job keeping up with our large group while managing the rest of the bar at the same time which is no small feat! One thing I have to call out is the green beer! It was such a fun, festive touch that had everyone excited and in the St. Patrick's Day spirit. To top it all off, we headed upstairs to dance and keep the night going, and honestly, so many of us ended up staying at Potter's long after the crawl wrapped up because we were having that much fun. Thank you to Matt and the entire Potter's staff. You made our St. Patrick's Day one to remember!

We love coming here for the patio and vibes. The food is good/ok and fast. I would say it is majorly overpriced though. Ordered stuffed jalapeño for 11 dollars and what you really get is two japs cut in half. Not even a whole jalapeno. Very skimpy. Ordered cheesy beef tacos and didn’t receive it nor did I complain but got the shredded beef and for 17 dollars they were soggy. Server was ok.

Oh man this is just unfortunate. I’ve always heard good things about this place, so when I got invited to meet here I was ecstatic. I’ve never been so let down before in my life with the food. I didn’t manage to get pictures of everything but we got tacos, fajitas, salads, and taquitos.
When I tell you that this might be the worst spot for Mexican cuisine, take my word for it. Our server was nice to us and fairly proficient at her job, but it took her a long time to get us any drinks or refills.
Would I come here again? Absolutely but only because they had live musicians and a good crowd, but the food was definitely not the vibe.

I'd heard good things about Potter's Place and checked it out. From the moment we walked in, it was so loud we could barely hear ourselves think, let alone what the servers were saying! My dad had a decibel reader on his phone and checked how loud the place was (pic attached.) I understand that there were other people in the restaurant, but the music and TV didn't help.
As far as the food, I got the signature Christmas Tree Burrito with shredded beef. For the price I would've liked it to have come with beans and rice, but maybe that's just Naperville pricing.
Overall, it was an okay experience. Friendly staff and good food, but kind of pricey and definitely too loud.
