La Sorella di Francesca is located in the heart of the bustling Downtown Naperville area. The restaurant encourages the lively art of dining with a casually sophisticated Trattoria ambiance, rustic cooking, friendly service, and fair prices.

Went here for a after Birthday celebration and the ambiance was amazing and the aesthetic of Italian art to the architectural arches was spot on. Full bar with experienced tenders. The food was fantastic started with classic bread, olive oil and parm cheese. Moved onto entrees which were a good portion. The deserts and coffee were also amazing. The bathrooms were clean and cute decor. Will be back again to try more food!

We were in town for a few days and decided to try this restaurant, and it did not disappoint! The food was flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the drinks were great and strong. Donny, the manager, made everyone feel welcome and created such a fun atmosphere. John, our server, was also friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is beautiful, although the tables are set fairly close together. However, that’s understandable given its location on Main Street. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely stop by again the next time we’re in town.

Excellent dining experience as expected. Service was attentive and awesome as the server checked on our table quite often to ensure we were happy with everything. Notable mentions were the white fish, which was was flaky and delicate, and the vegetables (zucchini, squash, broccoli, mushrooms, spinach, etc) which had a satisfying crunch and flavor. I especially enjoyed the light creamy sauce that was served with the Lake Superior white fish that a slightly sweet creaminess. The Profiteroles dessert was outstanding as the pistachio gelato stole the show as the thicker topping of dark(?)/semisweet chocolate sauce balanced it all out. Nice outdoor seating even though it may appear cramped from the outside, while seated, it did not feel like it at all. In fact, the tree that was in the middle provided a nice separation from the bustling Saturday sidewalk crowd.

First time coming here and was very pleased by the atmosphere. The first floor had a really nice bar and was well decorated! We sat upstairs for our dinner and it was cute and had a historic vibe to it! Our waiter, John was fabulous! Very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and although stuffed writing this post- already planning my return.

We ended our progressive lunch at Francesca for dessert, and it was the perfect final stop. The desserts were delicious, well-presented, and a great way to finish the experience. Everything felt fresh and satisfying without being too heavy.. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy the last part of our meal with friends. The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made sure our group was well taken care of. Overall, it was a wonderful ending to our progressive lunch, and we would happily return again.

    ABOUT US

Founded in 1992 by Restaurateur Scott Harris, Francesca’s Restaurant Group has grown from a small, welcoming Italian restaurant on Chicago’s North Clark Street to a restaurant group of six concepts across 23 locations and two states.

Francesca’s Restaurants is a neighborhood Trattoria offering classic Italian favorites in an ambiance of sophisticated comfort.

Davanti Enoteca is a lively wine bar and restaurant with shareable contemporary twists on rustic Italian cuisine.

Disotto is reminiscent of a wine cellar on the Italian countryside. Everything is cooked with love and from scratch—just like Nonna’s kitchen.

Fat Rosie’s Taco and Tequila Bar is a fun, hip, and festive family-friendly Mexican Taqueria featuring a modern take on traditional Mexican fare with small plates, shareable “street foods”, and endless tequila.

Joe’s Imports invites guests to uncork worldly bottles of wine from Joe’s curated selection of unique wines inspired by his travels, while passing plates of modern Mediterranean noshes. Joe’s goal is to take each guest on a vacation in a glass, through each sip of wine.

Vasili’s features hearth-cooked Mediterranean cuisine from the heart inspired by recipes from our Papou, passed through generations.

Across all concepts, the multi-unit restaurant group maintains its commitment to the original restaurant’s founding philosophy of Italian hospitality—where simple food with quality ingredients and thoughtful service make a meal.
