The staff was very friendly and helpful the first time we tried Taqueria Invicto. He gave us many recommendations for food and drinks. The horchatas were delicious. We are definitely coming back for more horchatas. We really liked the tacos and the quesabirria with consome. The food felt authentic. I think the salsa bar was a great idea. All the sauces tasted great especially the creamy ones. The restaurant itself was decorated beautifully. It felt like we were transported to Mexico seeing the tables and the wall decor.
Good food! It was a little pricey but it had great variety. All tacos we tried were tasty. Horchata was good too. Music was way too loud. Would definitely come back!
I was charged $20.24 for a 2 birria basket with chips -no rice/beans. I ordered online.. and then I saw that the price of that basket is only $14.99 so I’m not sure why I was charged extra. the queso was seasoned and very thick. I didn’t like it. the horchata was the BEST I’ve ever had. the birria was well made and tender. the consomé could have had more flavor. my total was $28 so because of the pricing, I think I’ll just try a horchata milkshake next!
I had to try this place out as I saw a lot of people talking about it on tik tok. I had the cheetoh burrito and my bf had the spicy Mexican taco, pastor taco and shrimp taco. We shared a agua fresca which was the horchata. This place was so cute and had that old school Mexican cantina vibe. But the food was mid. I feel like it was very tailored to Naperville taste buds. It’s not authentic Mexican food. Which is what I was expecting. Nothing was spicy. Non of the salsas either. Even though we didn’t 100% enjoy the food we still want to go back and give the birria food items a try, I’ll update you then!
The burrito was so good and flavorful. The queso was by far the best queso I've ever had. All the salsas were flavorful and very fresh. The margaritas were also very well made.
