Celebrating our engagement here was a fantastic choice! The hospitality and service were truly exceptional from start to finish.
The food was largely a hit—the crab cake and crab stuffed avocado were absolutely top-notch, and the escargot was prepared perfectly. While the frog legs weren't personally our thing, the rest of the meal was excellent.
A huge thank you to the staff for the complimentary dessert to mark our celebration; it was such an awesome, thoughtful gesture. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back soon!

Hugo’s was an absolutely fantastic dining experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, making it the perfect place for a special occasion or a night out in downtown Naperville.
The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection, and the quality of the ingredients truly stood out. The seafood was exceptional, and the cocktails were equally impressive.
What made the experience even better was the service. The staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly, ensuring that every detail of our evening was taken care of.
If you're looking for amazing food, great drinks, and exceptional service, I highly recommend visiting Hugo's Frog Bar & Fish House. We will definitely be back again soon!

Wonderful restaurant in downtown Naperville. It has a fun vibe and excellent food. The wine selection is generous and my Old Fashion cocktail was sublime. The crab cake appetizer is large and perfectly prepared. I usually have trouble at fine restaurants getting a truly “medium rare” steak but the Hugo Frogs chefs cooked my ribeye properly. The Lake Superior whitefish was also moist and delicious. With 2 drinks each and a 20% tip, we spent $240. We enjoyed the fun and friendly atmosphere and a delicious meal. Tessa served us well with great recommendations and meal timing, even guiding the chef to ensure my steak was perfectly cooked. I highly recommend Hugo Frogs. We’ll be back!

My husband and I had an afternoon dinner reservation for Valentine’s Day - a very packed restaurant but that’s to be expected on a major holiday. The host was prompt to let us know that they were running behind and would text us as soon as our table was ready. Though crowded at the host stand, we were seated soon after the text came through. The food was delicious and excellent portions for almost all of the dishes. We shared goat cheese and bread for a starter. For our main, I had steamed crab legs with a side of sautéed mushrooms, and a Pear Blossom cocktail, while my husband had steak. For dessert we had crème brûlée and I had a glass of port. The only downside to the food was that the side of sautéed mushrooms was portioned as if for the table, so be warned! We were seated and finished our meal in under two hours and our server was very kind.

Food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional (gave 4/5 stars because the busser was not attentive). Sea Bass was cooked to perfection with a slight Asian flair. Also ordered oysters and the clam chowder with my espresso martini and both of those were good. New York strip was tender and cooked medium and would definitely order again. Overall positive experience would recommend if you’re looking for good seafood in Naperville.
