We ate gummy edibles from the local vape shop before heading to Granite City but by the time we got to the parking lot and parked either one of us could move and needed to sit for a while. I ate less so I was able to go inside and got a beer while I waited and ordered our food to go. We got the 2 dinners for $25. The spinach artichoke dip comes with grilled bread and chips. They are so freaking good! I left with the dinners to the car but by the time O got there he had woke up and we ended up eating on the patio where we dominated our food and he ended up falling asleep while we waited a bit longer for the edible to wear off. Those blue and white gummy rings last a while and they’re quite potent.
Outstanding place. Wish Des Moines still had a location, but this hit the spot. Within walking distance from the hotel. Food was great, had the fish-n-chips (see pic). Beer selection was good as well, as expected. The wait staff was awesome. Clean, friendly and cozy atmosphere. Family friendly. Restrooms were clean. Plenty of parking. Great place all around!!! Will be back.
Great place for food and drinks. My session IPA was really good. Pretzel sticks appetizer was good; we loved the mustard and beer cheese dipping sauces. The Nashville Hot Chicken and Dill Flatbread was good; the Nashville hot chicken was pretty mild in heat. The Asian Chicken Salad was great! Full of flavor and loaded with toppings. Portions were huge, so bring your appetite!
I spoke with James, the General Manager at Granite City Naperville, today regarding an upcoming private event. His assistance was outstanding, and he provided truly world-class service. My family has hosted several events at this location, and we have consistently been impressed by the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. I would like to note that I have found the centralized sales group to be less reliable regarding information; moving forward, I highly recommend coordinating directly with the restaurant. Overall, the Naperville location continues to be an amazing venue, and James is a credit to the team.
Restaurant was nearly empty so had the place to ourselves. We had a party of 6. for a birthday. Service was pretty efficient and helpful. Server wasn’t too intrusive, however, needed more water and soft drinks. Server was friendly and food was good. Portions were average for restaurant size
