I absolutely loved this place! We sat upstairs, and during the summer the atmosphere was just perfect. It was such a beautiful spot to relax, and we were served really quickly.
We started with the Dirty Chips, and they were incredible! The combination of flavors and textures was amazing. I especially loved the blue cheese with the buffalo sauce, it was such a delicious combination!!!
I ordered The Gronk burger, and wow… it was absolutely delicious😍😍😍😍. The burger was huge, but what impressed me the most was the quality of the beef. We both ordered our burgers medium well, and the doneness was absolutely perfect. The meat was incredibly flavorful, juicy, and cooked exactly the way we asked.
My boyfriend ordered The G.O.A.T, which had a more elevated, gourmet flavor. The goat cheese paired perfectly with the burger and made every bite amazing!!!!!!
Overall, this is the perfect spot for a summer Sunday. Great food, a beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service. I can’t wait to come back!

Went here on a warm day and opted for the patio. This place is right up on the river so the patio offers nice views of the riverwalk. The fish tacos were pretty good, they had a light but crispy breading that went well with all the trimmings. Also tried the burger which was pretty good as well. Parking is on the street or parking lots are within walking distance.

OMG! This place absolutely surprised me. Typically, Naperville restaurants suck, but the food was excellent. Everything was flavorful including the salad. I would come for the salad alone. The food combinations are imaginative, unexpected, and lovely. I highly recommend 👌.

Empire has a great atmosphere, especially if you can grab a spot on the rooftop. I visited on a sunny day and really enjoyed the view overlooking the river.
I ordered the “Jane,” which is a pretty standard burger with lettuce, tomato, and cheese. It was good overall and cooked well, but it wasn’t anything especially memorable or the best burger I’ve had. One thing that surprised me was how limited the menu was considering how large the restaurant is. I expected a bit more variety.
Overall, Empire is worth visiting for the atmosphere and rooftop experience, but the food itself was solid rather than outstanding.
