4/25/26. My last time here. Decided I was going to finally try the cinnamon roll. I made the round trip walking to burn off a few calories... 😆
It's delicious, but huge! You could easily split this three ways. I'll be eating some for the next 3 days.

I've stopped by here a couple of times while pet sitting in the neighborhood.
This bakery is fantastic!
Both times I've tried different items. I highly recommend the lemon bars if they have them, and I'm a blueberry muffin connoisseur and theirs are amazing. The store is tiny, so depending on the time you get there you could be waiting in line. The one thing I find amazing about this location is they are open everyday, plus unlike other bakeries that tend to close every day by 3:00 pm at the latest, this place stays open till 6 pm four days out of the seven.
Stop by sometime, I think you'll be happy you did.

We went here late in the day, but DeEttas still had a decent selection of baked goods to choose from. We are used to picking up DeEttas at Reams in Elburn, but were in the area on this day. Our server was prompt and attentive and the cake, scones,and assorted other items were very nice. The cake is the best and might be the best Ive eaten.

We did our wedding cake and dessert table for 175 through Dettas and everything turned out wonderful! The cake was amazing and turned out exactly like the picture I sent in. Our guests were so happy with everything on the dessert table and there was nothing left at the end! We 10/10 recommend!

The custom cake was outstanding. The service started off slow but improved over time
The cookie tray presentation was horrendous and was given someone else's container. My dessert table became an embarrassment. A guest took this picture ignoring the deceased dessert table presentation. The cookie tray under dispute is partially shown in this unedited picture. It was cookies dumped into a plastic tin..

I ordered a custom cake for a bridal shower and it was not only beautiful but tasted fantastic. The colors were perfect and the gown on top was amazing. The service was excellent. I will definitely be going here for any custom cakes I need in the future!
