My wife and I celebrated our 3rd year wedding anniversary today and it was amazing! The food, the service, the atmosphere! It’s our 3rd time here, how ironic. Our waiter was superb, Frank…Jack also stopped by to take a picture of us and brought back a very nice Eddie Merlot post card with our picture framed. We are soooo happy we decided to dine here tonight and celebrate our anniversary. Thank you again Frank for a great experience.

I LOVE a good steak place that serves good a good bread service. This was not the place for me and my family. We are not big fans of sourdough bread. It has a horrible after taste. They are missing the mark on that. We also didn't like their fried calamari. It tasted like it came out of a box. What they served us, was not the same that was pictured on their website and/or Yelp! This was Christmas day, so I don't know if they went the cheap route or not, but it was not good at all. Very disappointed!! I consider myself to be a calamari connoisseur. I hope they fixed that!!
We also had the Tomahawk.. that was cooked perfectly and the taste was OK. I had the Seabass, and that was delicious. They sides were just ok. The drinks were ok, but, I'm a lite weight. Lol! Service was great. I don't remember the servers name, but he was great! They did remove the calamari from our tab. The three of us, my sister and niece enjoyed our time together for our annual Christmas dinner!! We just won't go back.

I had a wonderful dining experience and wanted to highlight the excellent service we received. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish exceeded expectations.
What truly made the experience stand out was our server, Travis. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional throughout our visit. He made sure everything was perfect, checked in at just the right times, and gave great recommendations. His positive attitude really enhanced our meal.
Overall, a fantastic experience thanks to both the amazing food and Travis’s outstanding service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Our serving Chris was amazing!!! He was our server with our birthday party and he was on point with everything. He did not miss a beat. Everyone loved him. He was very attentive and we did not lack anything. We got full attention no matter how many guest were present. If I could give him 100 stars I would!

Our experience at Eddie Merlot’s in Warrenville was exceptional from start to finish. We were seated almost immediately, which made for a great first impression. The atmosphere was elegant, quiet, and relaxing, and the restaurant was spotless, creating the perfect setting for a special night out.
The complimentary appetizer and dessert were a wonderful surprise and showed the level of hospitality they provide. Every detail of the dining experience felt thoughtful and well-executed.
A special thank you to our server, Frank, who truly elevated the evening. He made us feel incredibly welcomed from the moment we sat down. He took the time to explain the entire menu in great detail, answered all of our questions, and offered excellent recommendations for both drinks and entrées. His knowledge, professionalism, and friendly personality made choosing our meal easy and added so much to the overall experience.
If you’re looking for outstanding service, incredible food, and an upscale yet comfortable atmosphere, Eddie Merlot’s in Warrenville is absolutely worth visiting. We’ll definitely be coming back!
