I’ve been a regular Rosati’s customer for years, ordering at least twice a month, but this experience was by far the worst.
I placed an order for two thin crust pizzas and a coupon deal (pizza, wings, and a liter of soda for $39.99). The pizzas arrived 1.5 hours later (after being told it would be under an hour) and were thick crust, uncut instead of the standard thin crust I’ve always received.
The wings were another disaster. I requested bone-in (which the lady said she’d honor as a favor) and they arrived half-cooked, gooey, and literally swimming in Italian dressing. When I called to clarify, I was told that “Italian dressing” is their garlic Parmesan sauce – which is a stretch at best.
When I asked to speak to a manager (I believe her name was Sarah), she immediately got defensive. Instead of listening, she blamed me, saying Rosati’s has over 10 crust types and that I should have been “specific” about wanting traditional thin crust. I’m sorry, but when someone says “thin crust” at Rosati’s, that’s always been square-cut, traditional thin – not thick pan pizza.
Her “solution”? To note my account. No apology, no accountability – just an attitude. When I brought up the wings being undercooked, she snapped back that I was “complaining after she did me a favor” by honoring the coupon.
To top it off, she started the call by claiming this was my “first order” despite the fact that she greeted me by name when I placed it and I order regularly.
For the record: I wasn’t looking for a freebie. I tipped nearly half the bill upfront because I appreciate good service. What I expected was accountability and basic customer service, and I got neither.
After this experience, I checked their online reviews – and sure enough, they rarely go above 2 stars. Now I understand why. If this is the “management” representing Rosati’s, it’s no wonder.

Pizza was really good. The lady who took my order was very friendly and competent. However, when my pizza was ready another lady came out and seemed to think I wasn’t the one who ordered the food. Even though I was the only one in the restaurant. Eventually gave me my food and I left. Atmosphere is typical Chicago sports theme. After driving there, ordering, waiting nearly half an hour, all because online ordering wasn’t going through, they charged me a convenience fee.

Poor quality food, service dismal and not on time. Placed order at 3 to be done by 5; arrived at 5, finally ready at 545. They are putting a 3.99% fee on top of credit and ATM transactions though I’m thinking not able to on debit cards per state law.

I order from rosatis al the time but it seems as if this location has the worse service, food & customer service. Everytime I ask for peppers with my pizza they charge me and I do not get them. I did not make it an issue until it keeps happening and no accommodations whatsoever so ever. I asked today to make sure they bring them on delivery and here it is again they bring nothing and I call the manager says he will notate my account for next time which does not sit right with me becusss there will not be a next time having to deal with this and no other times have been accommodated. My pizza has been cold on all occasions and I never complain due to the cold but this is getting out of hand and careless from this company. They do not care about giving good service let alone good food quality.

We are big Rosati’s fans and have ordered from several western suburb locations, so we’re super familiar with how this pizza normally tastes. Tried this location since we were in the area for regular family takeout thin crust pizza. To say this pizza was dripping with grease is an understatement. Could barely detect the sauce. Taste was also VERY different from other locations, and not in a good way. Would not recommend. Super unfortunate as this spot would be convenient for us.
