I have been searching for a new go-to Chinese restaurant since I moved from Evergreen Park to Naperville in June 2023. My go to in EP was Wings in Alsip and I’ve had such a hard time finding a place that is just as good or better than Wings, until New Wok. I ordered online and sent my husband because I don’t drive. The first thing my husband said when he walked in the door was that they were so friendly and welcoming when he went to pick up the order. We crack everything open, get our plates together, and have at it. My son and husband usually have multiple conversations among us, but they loved their dishes so much, they were quiet the entire time they were eating. My daughter loved her crab Rangoon and her fried rice, and their vegetable egg rolls were some of the best I’ve ever had. I have definitely found my go-to Chinese place!

My family has been eating here for years. My favorite place to order from for a night in. I was so scared they were shutting down for good after Covid but I am happy to see them back. Food is incredible and I even buy the sweet and sour sauce by the jar. Always recommend :)

When I used to live in the North burbs (Deerfield / Highland Park), there were these pick-up & go “americanized” chinese restaurants that had very good food, excellent quality, inexpensive yet the portions were exceptional. This place is very similar. There is no in-dining seating at most of these sites (a few exceptions), but this no-frills approach keeps the prices relatively low compared to dine-in eqivalents. However, there is no dim-sum, assorted dumplings nor any specials that are “extravagent” such as crispy Peking duck mu-shu style. But for what was ordered and the price point, its worth a visit.
Ordered combo appetizer which came with a pork eggroll, 2 crab rangoon and 2 fried shrimp rings. Served hot and crispy, this was what was to be expected, and nice serving size.
The chefs special pan fried noodles with combo chicken, beef, shrimp and vegetables was on-point. Again the pint serving, imo, is worth 4 meals (~4oz each). I have had many pan fried noodles over the decades and this was a very good version. The owners are friendly and deliver the food on-time. I was there 10 minutes prior to the promised time, which was delivered at exactly 10 minutes as I waited (I didnt mind the wait). It paid off as the food was still piping hot when I got it home.

Good value, quick service, one (sometimes 2) tables but it is really just a take-out place. Almost always the prep is fast and delivered hot. Some items are better than others but overall it fine Chinese (with large portions) at good prices. Friendly counter staff.
I give it a 5 relative to other carryouts. Yes, there is better Chinese food (at much higher prices), but for a neighborhood carryout, New Wok does not dissapoint.

We’ve ordered from here twice and both times it was fantastic! By far the best Chinese food in the area. Even the kids enjoyed it!
